The Central Jakarta administration is holding a simulation called Kampung Tangguh Bencana (Disaster Resilient Village) at Lapangan STU, RW 05 Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang.

He went on to say that the RW 05 Karet Tengsin area was designated as a city-level Disaster Resilient Village, as it often became a regular flood during the rainy season.
"Hopefully, in this year, floods would not happen again in the area. Thus we don't evacuate anymore when the flood occurs," he hoped.
Karet Tengsin Urban Village Head Hari Ananda explained his side had set up five evacuation sites with 50 percent capacity from normal condition.
"The residents also agreed on it," he explained.
Meanwhile, RW 05 Karet Tengsin Chairman Harmadi revealed, it was hoped that residents could be better prepared when floods occured again.
"We have often experienced severe flooding. If it occurs again, hopefully we already know what was done," he stressed.
